The proportions look great and I'm an absolute sucker for an exhibition case back . Nice review and photos up at A Blog to Watch: http://www.ablogtowatch.com/panerai...ciaio-pam-682-pam-684-oro-rosso-42mm-watches/   gsxcbr1 , Jan 26, 2017 #1 Hj3lm Well-Known Member   Joined: Jul 14, 2015 Messages: 162 Location: Sweden Post Ratings: +3 I really hope this one get repped sooner rather than later! Anyone got any info if the factories are working on this?   Hj3lm , Jan 26, 2017 #2 gsxcbr1 Well-Known Member   Joined: Aug 8, 2011 Messages: 439 Location: Southern California, USA Post Ratings: +18 A few more photos to drool over:   gsxcbr1 , Jan 26, 2017 #3 Daft_Punk Well-Known Member   Joined: Nov 5, 2016 Messages: 1,175 Location: Exiled Post Ratings: +251 Yes please ... doubt will see it for awhile as requires effort beyond variations / upgrades of existing cases ... who knows perhaps a factory will also come to the same conclusion there is a bigger market to be found with some more reasonable 42 ... and this one is a classic in steel   Daft_Punk , Jan 27, 2017 #4 Fin RWI SUPPORTER       Joined: Jul 20, 2016 Messages: 234 Location: NA Post Ratings: +21 Very interested in these as Subs are too big for me to pull off. Styling on neither one are really up my alley but, if repped, would possibly have to jump on one out of principle. If they had a black (ceramic?) bezel on the steel model it'd be perfect.   Fin , Jan 27, 2017 #5 mysterio Well-Known Member       Joined: Aug 19, 2008 Messages: 4,512 Post Ratings: +96 Fin said: ↑ Very interested in these as Subs are too big for me to pull off. Click to expand... Might get one as well even though I've disposed of every other 42mm PAM I've gotten. Just out of principle, that I love subs. Hehehe OP will probably come up with a smaller PAM389 next year, depending on the response to these two submersibles.   mysterio , Jan 27, 2017 #6 gsxcbr1 Well-Known Member   Joined: Aug 8, 2011 Messages: 439 Location: Southern California, USA Post Ratings: +18 I wouldn't be surprised if Panerai developed these 42mm models specifically for the Asian markets where smaller wrists are the norm. I expect a 682 replica would do very respectable numbers globally! This 682 sub is #1 on my wish list...   gsxcbr1 , Jan 27, 2017 #7 nicktan182 Well-Known Member   Joined: Oct 31, 2013 Messages: 990 Location: Singapore Post Ratings: +1 mysterio said: ↑ Might get one as well even though I've disposed of every other 42mm PAM I've gotten. OP actually already has announced a new pam 1305 and 1389, new thinner versions of the current 305 and 389 using the new p9010 movement as seen in the 1312 and 1359 http://www.horobox.com/en/review-de...rst-to-Present-Officine-Panerai-Novelties&P=1   nicktan182 , Jan 27, 2017 #8 Charima Well-Known Member   Joined: Sep 28, 2012 Messages: 251 Post Ratings: +0 684 is really GORGEOUS!!!! Good effort from OP - although I can comfortly wear a 47mm, I think this is a nicer everyday piece that will probably get caught on doors and the like not so often as is a tad thinner and significantly smaller   tosoboso , Jan 27, 2017 #10 JMMC RWI SUPPORTER     Joined: Nov 30, 2014 Messages: 312 Location: Spain Post Ratings: +0 I do not like 42mm sumersibles. I can only see case and bezel. I could better understand a 42mm Radiomir.   JMMC , Jan 27, 2017 #11 mysterio Well-Known Member       Joined: Aug 19, 2008 Messages: 4,512 Post Ratings: +96 JMMC said: ↑ I do not like 42mm sumersibles. The L2L gets shrunk and the watches just look weird isolated in the middle of your wrist. 44mm SUB would be perfect.   Sirlordcomic , Mar 14, 2017 #18 gsxcbr1 Well-Known Member   Joined: Aug 8, 2011 Messages: 439 Location: Southern California, USA Post Ratings: +18 Sirlordcomic said: ↑ Panerai in 42mm don't work. Completely makes sense if you have a larger wrist, but if you have a small 6.5" wrist like I do 42mm does not "look weird isolated in the middle of your wrist"! The 44mm subs are great, just too big for me. I can't wait for the 42mm sub   gsxcbr1 , Mar 14, 2017 #19 Sirlordcomic Well-Known Member   Joined: Aug 4, 2014 Messages: 650 Occupation: Teacher Location: Saudi Post Ratings: +2 Well I've got a flat 6.75 and they don't work for me, to each his own, wish they made a thinner 44mm sub. IMHO they look weird, I can only see a piece of steel. I would try a 44mm even on small writs.   JMMC , Mar 23, 2017 #21 gsxcbr1 Well-Known Member   Joined: Aug 8, 2011 Messages: 439 Location: Southern California, USA Post Ratings: +18 JMMC said: ↑ The thick bezels found on Submersibles do no allow enough space for a decent dial in 42mm. I think OP nailed the proportion but beauty is in the eye of the beholder! It's great to have submersible options at 42mm, 44mm, and 47mm. Truly something for everyone.   gsxcbr1 , Mar 23, 2017 #22 JMMC RWI SUPPORTER     Joined: Nov 30, 2014 Messages: 312 Location: Spain Post Ratings: +0 Nice pic. There are only a few replica watches sites online that have such an unfriendly appearance as Swissreplica.cd does. Its design has nothing to do with the looks of an online store. The homepage resembles more to a blog or forum layout than to an e-shop. The consequence is the low visibility of the menu, the more »
